October 7- 8, 2007...

'VISIT VANDENBERG', a special REEFMAKERS™ event held in Norfolk, Virginia included guided tours of the ship: The USAFS General Hoyt S. Vandenberg, soon to be sunk as an artificial reef in the waters off of Key West, Florida.

Special guest speakers covered informational topics from environmentally preparing the ship, to the importance of alleviating pressure on the natural reefs by providing artificial ones, such as the Vandenberg.
